SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES:

• 65 million living with an STD but continue to have unprotected sex
• STD- Sexually Transmitted Disease
• STD is anything that is a Bacterial, Viral, or parasitic  infection
• Up to 25 various infections (HIV, Gonnoreha, etc) more info on infections at http://www.cdc.gov/std
• 40 % of people with multiple partners are not using protection
• Most people get tested annually, but it’s recommended to go more often depending on your sexual activity

My DAMN Point:

Sexuality is part of being human, but KEEP IT REAL and BE SMART.  Being smart about using protection usually doesn’t occur until after having had an experience with an STD or unwanted pregnancy.  Some STD’s can be cured, but there are a few that will be with you the rest of your life.  If you don’t get tested and don’t know, you can put numerous people at RISK for you poor decisions.  Be smart and do your research regarding the risk involved with unprotected sex, and make sure you are taking the right precautions when you are with your partner(s).  If you don’t you can end up with something that could change your LIFE for GOOD.. DAMN
