My DAMN Opinion:

I’m giving everyone a DOUBLE DOSE of DAMN Moments today! I didn’t think of posting this until Alicia talked about what occurred on the Today Show.  I really like that song (off Jay-Z new Cd which is in stores NOW), and was REALLY feeling Alicia and Jay-Z’s performance until Lil Mama jumped on stage.  DAMN Nothing against Lil Mama but when you have TWO SUPERSTARS on stage like that and they are performing at that LEVEL.  You can’t Jump on Stage and ruin the FLOW.

My DAMN Opinion:

I’m a Cavs fan so I’m a little disappointed in this DAMN Moment, but I must continue to give my opinion of this disappointing story   Not sure why Delonte was carrying the guns in the first place, and why he would be carrying concealed weapons in a state where it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon or transport loaded guns.  DAMN

My DAMN Opinion:

I’m not upset with the President making the comment.  Kanye’s actions were JACKASS like, and the president said what numerous people were thinking regarding Kanye’s actions.  Not professional for someone to TWEET about a comment that is off the record.  When you hear a comment like that you should ask for clarity as to if this is going to be aired or if it’s off the record.  You would think Terry Moran would know this by NOW. I think his actions should result in some sort of SUSPENSION. DAMN

Should there be a NO cellphone (no myspace, twitter, facebook, etc) rule in place when interviews are being conducted?

• Kanye West jumps up on the MTV VMA stage after Taylor Swift wins Best Female Video instead of Beyonce
• Makes a comment that doesn’t go over well with the audience regarding BEYONCE’s video

• Kanye gets booed whenever his name was mentioned
• Kanye was asked to leave the VMA after OUTBURST

My DAMN Opinion:

Kanye said what a lot of people were probably thinking, but it was a LOSE – LOSE situation for him interrupting Taylor Swift on stage like he did.  I commend Kanye for having the HEART to go on stage like that to SPEAK HIS MIND, but it wasn’t the TIME or PLACE to make the comment he made. DAMN

The Madden curse relates to players who appear on the cover of the Madden video game, and seem to either get injured or have some other problems during the season they are on the cover of the game.

• Mike Vick(madden 2004 cover)- suffered leg injury that season

140 million dollars given to families to purchase school supplies from the stimulus money

• 140 million dollars allocated to help needy families buy school supplies
• Philanthropist George Soros donated 35 million
• Arrived in debit accounts of needy families
• About $200 per family

DAMN

• Gas station owners reported there was a lot beer and cigarettes being bought with welfare money
• People from Wal-Mart reported people were lined up to buy flat-screen tv’s

My DAMN Opinion:

Giving this money as cash wasn’t a smart idea (loading on to debit card) because there is no way to ensure or track how the money is spent.  Government has to do a better job with the particulars how future stimulus money is used by the states.  If the majority of the money wasn’t used on school supplies, then the students who didn’t get their supplies got the short end of the stick. DAMN

THE MONEY WAS USED BY BLACK AND WHITE PEOPLE (don’t want to insinuate that it was just black ppl doing the spending in New York), BUT I COULDN’T HELP BUT THINK BACK TO THIS EPISODE FROM THE CHAPPELLE SHOW when i watched the clip from Fox News..

Did the clip from Fox News make you think it was black people blowing the money? (beer, cigarettes, welfare,etc) Or were they just reporting what was really going on?

My DAMN Opinion:

The process Obama’s people are using in vetting people needs to improve, and the people that are being considered for positions really need to be honest about their past.  Van Jones is entitled to his own opinion regarding Bush and others he has talked about openly.  I’m a little upset with the fact that after the Reverend Wright situation and other situations that have come up in the news, that he still accepted the position knowing his past association and comments could be used against Obama.   DAMN

Is is better to say the RIGHT THING or what you REALLY are thinking when the cameras are rolling and your giving a SPEECH..  (oH and you have an interest in politics)

My DAMN Opinion:

This punishment sends a message to any player in college sports that they can lose their entire season, if they do what LaGarrette Blount did after the game.  His back-up probably came into the season thinking he wouldn’t see any playing time, but I hope he is prepared “mentally” and “physically” because now he s the teams starting tailback..  LaGarrette’s future doesn’t look to GOOD.. DAMN
